A practice built around careful attention to your pension.
We are a legal practice in Khon Kaen, Thailand, working with individuals who need a steadying hand through pension matters that have become complicated or uncertain.
Back to HomeHow Naga Counsel came to be
Naga Counsel was established in Khon Kaen to address a specific gap that kept coming up in consultations: individuals with genuine pension concerns who had been turned away, overlooked, or simply left without clear guidance about what their rights and options actually were.
Our founder had spent several years working in legal support roles across Thailand, and increasingly found that pension matters — while relatively technical — were among the areas where individuals most needed steady, patient guidance rather than rushed advice. In May 2022, Naga Counsel was established to offer exactly that.
We work with Thai nationals and foreign residents alike. Our cases range from straightforward reviews of pension documentation to extended representations in complex disputes. What stays the same across all of them is our approach: careful, clear, and focused on keeping the person we represent fully informed.
The name Naga — a guardian spirit in Thai tradition — reflects our intent. We are here to watch over a matter that is important to you, with the steadiness that deserves.
Our guiding values
-
Clarity above everything. We explain what is happening and why, at every step, without assuming you already know the background.
-
No unnecessary pressure. Decisions about your pension are yours to make. We give you our honest view and the information you need, then let you choose.
-
Steady communication. We do not leave you waiting and wondering. Regular, clear updates are part of how we work on every matter we handle.
-
Proportionate effort. We match the level of engagement to what your situation actually requires — not more, not less.
The people who handle your matter
A small, experienced team means your case is handled by someone who knows it well — not passed between departments.

How we maintain quality across every matter
Thai Bar Membership
Our legal staff hold active registrations with the Lawyers Council of Thailand, and operate within the conduct standards required of registered legal practitioners.
Written records policy
Every engagement includes written documentation of what has been agreed, what has been done, and what the current status is. Nothing is left to informal understanding.
Client confidentiality
Your personal information and the details of your pension matter are held strictly within the practice. We do not discuss or share case details outside what is necessary.
Scope clarity before engagement
We do not proceed with any paid service until you have seen and understood the scope of what we will do, at what cost, and within what timeframe.
Regular update commitments
For ongoing matters, we commit to regular contact so you are never left uncertain about where things stand. Update frequency is agreed with each client at the start.
Honest assessments
We will tell you when we think your position is strong and when it is difficult. We do not encourage you to proceed with a matter that we do not believe is in your interest.
Legal support for pension matters in Thailand
Pension concerns in Thailand — whether involving government employee funds, Social Security Office entitlements, private sector retirement schemes, or cross-border pension arrangements — often sit at the intersection of administrative process and legal entitlement. Getting clarity on where you stand can require someone who knows both.
At Naga Counsel, we work specifically within this area. Our team has handled matters ranging from straightforward documentation reviews to correspondence with pension administrators, regulatory bodies, and legal representatives on the other side of disputes. Each engagement is handled with the same care and steady attention to detail.
We serve individuals based in Khon Kaen and across the northeast of Thailand, as well as foreign nationals residing in Thailand who hold pension entitlements in their country of origin or through international arrangements. Language is handled with care — we understand that for many of our clients, navigating a legal matter in a second language adds an additional layer of difficulty, and we work to reduce that wherever possible.
If you have a pension concern and are not sure whether it is something we can help with, we encourage you to simply reach out. An initial conversation is free, and we will be straightforward with you about what we can and cannot do.
